Wheel Chair Bags

These were designed for my mom. I made them out of some left over table cloth fabric I had. They fit perfectly on her chair without interfering with the wheel. There is a pocket on the outside and one under a flap on the inside for her personals and money purse.

Crafting and Business

This has been such a learning process. I am here at the house taking care of mom and trying to figure out the best way to market. Craft Fairs when I can. The trouble with that they seem to cost more than I make. Well, I can say I have been given a lot of great tips through all the net working at the craft fairs. the people are wonderful. It's all learning, so for the money, the net working is worth it.

Pony Tail Tee Pockets

Spent so long trying to figure this one out. After about 11 attempts, I finally figured out what was needed to  be able to single handily tuck my pony tail inside.

Scrap Paper Easter Baskets

These Little baskets were made with left over 12" by 1" strips of paper from all the Christmas scrap books that I made. I weaved Three strips down the middle and then folded over the sides and weaved them inside if each other. I added and glued another strip to the top for a handle. They are Easter gifts to my fellow teachers at work.

Up-Cycled Sweat Shirt

Supplies: Black Pull over sweat shirt, Gold glitter puffy paint, black puffy paint, scissors, gold flowered fabric, stitch witchery. 9 Gold buttons, black bias tape, (cut from old black tee shirt) and a sewing machine.

Find center front of sweat shirt and cut open. Sew bias tape onto both sides and stitch down on the inside.
Mark button holes and stitch in. I made 9. You can make as many as you like. Iron stitch witchery on to your fabric as directed. Carefully cut out you flowers. Place them on the sweat shirt to your liking. I created a boarder down the front that arches in the back. Iron on your flowers. outline each flower with the black puffy paint, sealing the fabric edges to the fabric and out lining the flowers. After this has dried take the gold glitter paint and begin making dots on the inside of the boarder you have created. After dry sew on buttons.

More Quilling, with your scrap booking paper scraps

My Sis and I started quilling about a month ago. So we are definitely amateurs. She fell in love with the flowers and I with the designs. Here are a few of the flowers she has made and a hat she decorated with them for mom's B-Day.

These are a few of my practice designs. Quilling is new to us, but very fun. If you have never tried it I encourage you to. Check out the tutorials at the bottom of the page.

Quilling with your scrap booking paper scraps

I have to admit, when I discovered guilling, I fell in love with this art. I have bought some papers, but being a scrapbooker for what seems like forever, I have a bin full of paper. So I got out the cutter and started cutting pieces myself. So scrapbooker's here is an art you will enjoy embellishing your pages with and that gives you that opportunity to use up some of those scraps.
 Mom's Birthday Gift

I started with the letters. I used my cricut machine and cut the letter with the Mickey Font Disk. I picked my colors with the concept of sunrise to sunset. There is a tool you can purchase to work on, but I used a square piece of foam my sis got from the bottom of a box. I turned it upside down and lay my pictures on it , straight pin them in place and copy or fill in. It works great! I do not have a measuring board yet, but I have ordered one for some future projects. It is a good tool, and for all you perfectionist, you will want one. After I finished the letters I glued them onto a white circle. Then I began with the colored hearts around the inside edges, coordinating the colors to the letters. Then I began creating the swirls, and mounting them in place, again coordinating the colors. Once I had it in circled I mounted it on a purple paper. I then added the white hearts. When this was finished I trimmed the purple around the hearts and mounted it on the blue.

Was it hard, no. It was repetitious and time consuming.

Here are a couple of other fun projects that I have done.
